Assaf Sagiv is editor-in-chief of Azure. He received an M.A. in Law from Tel Aviv University and is currently living in Tel Aviv. His major essays include “George Steiner’s Jewish Problem” (Azure 15, Summer 2003) and “Globalization: Just Do It” (Azure 19, Winter 2005).

Lorena Avraham is managing editor of Azure. She recently completed her M.A. in international relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She lives in Jerusalem.

Marla Braverman is senior editor of Azure. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English literature. 

Orna Yoeli is associate editor of Azure. She received her B.A. in History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently studying toward an M.A. in Contemporary Judaism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Gila Fine
is assistant editor of Azure. She holds a B.A. in philosophy and literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is currently pursuing her M.A. in English literature.

Shira Green is assistant editor of Azure. She received her M.A. in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Evelyn Gordon is a contributing editor of Azure. She has written widely on Israeli law, politics, and society, including a series of major essays on the Israeli judiciary which appeared in Azure. She writes a regular column for the Jerusalem Post.

Steven Grosby
is a contributing editor of Azure. He is the author of Nationalism: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford, 2005), and Biblical Ideas of Nationality: Ancient and Modern (Eisenbrans, 2002).

Yoram Hazony is the founder and former president of the Shalem Center, where he is currently a senior fellow and a contributing editor of Azure. He is the author of The Dawn: Political Teachings of the Book of Esther (Shalem Press, 1995) and The Jewish State: The Struggle for Israel’s Soul (New Republic/ Basic Books, 2000), and his writings have appeared in the New Republic and the New York Times. Hazony received his B.A. from Princeton University and his Ph.D from Rutgers University, and served as a member of the Israeli delegation to the Madrid Peace Conference.

Pini Ifergen holds a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Hebrew University. His areas of research include German philosophy, contemporary analytic philosophy, epistemology and cultural criticism.

Yossi Klein Halevi is a contributing editor of Azure and a Senior Fellow at the Shalem Center. He is Israel correspondent for the New Republic, and author of Memoirs of a Jewish Extremist (Little, Brown, 1995) and of At the Entrance to the Garden of Eden: A Jew's Search for God with Christians and Muslims in the Holy Land (Morrow, 2001). He received a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He has been a regular contributor on Israeli affairs to the Los Angeles Times, and an occasional contributor to the New York Times and the Washington Post.
